In June 2026, our team at SAMPOCHEM visited VIV Europe in Utrecht, one of the leading international trade fairs for animal nutrition, feed production, livestock farming, and animal health. The event took place at Jaarbeurs Utrecht from 2 to 4 June 2026 and brought together professionals from across the global feed and livestock industries.

For us, the exhibition focused on one central question:

How can feed manufacturers, premix producers, and livestock operations improve feed hygiene, preservation, and animal performance while reducing reliance on traditional antimicrobial interventions and maintaining cost-effective production?

At SAMPOCHEM, we develop functional feed additive solutions designed to address practical challenges throughout the feed and livestock value chain. During VIV Europe 2026, our discussions focused particularly on feed preservation, pathogen control, gut health support, and feed hygiene management.

A key topic was our Captacid range, a portfolio of buffered and protected organic acid solutions developed to support feed safety and animal performance. We exchanged ideas with industry professionals about strategies to control pathogenic bacteria, improve feed hygiene, support intestinal health, and enhance overall production efficiency across poultry, swine, ruminant, and aquaculture applications.

Another important area of discussion was the growing need for reliable, easy-to-handle alternatives that provide effective preservation and feed hygiene benefits while fitting into modern production systems and evolving regulatory requirements. As the industry continues to focus on animal health, performance, sustainability, and responsible production practices, feed additive technologies play an increasingly important role.

VIV Europe was an excellent opportunity to gain further insight into current market developments, exchange experiences with feed manufacturers, integrators, distributors, and nutrition specialists, and discuss practical solutions for today's animal production challenges.

If we met at the exhibition, thank you for taking the time to speak with us.

If we did not have the opportunity to meet, we would still be pleased to connect. If you are working on feed preservation, pathogen control, gut health, organic acid technologies, or feed hygiene solutions, feel free to contact us via www.sampochem.com.
